Texas Man Charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor Following Multi-Agency Operation

In a collaborative effort to safeguard the youth of Texas, the Socorro Police Department joined forces with multiple agencies to apprehend a man involved in the online solicitation of a minor. A post on the official Facebook page of the City of Socorro, Texas – Government, reported the arrest of 34-year-old Justin Corley on related charges.

Having received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit, together with the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, started an investigation in April of 2025. When searched by investigators, a cellphone and computer were seized at the Harbor Walk Apartments in League City, Texas.

Forensic analysis of the devices confirmed the presence of materials associated with the online solicitation of a minor, leading to the identification of the suspect, Justin Corley. “Our department remains committed to protecting children and holding offenders accountable when crimes affect our community,” Chief Robert C.
