CLAREMORE, Okla. — The Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore held a wreath-laying ceremony to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the death of Oklahoma’s Favorite Son, Will Rogers, on Friday.
Friday marks 90 years since Will Rogers and pilot Wiley Post were killed in a tragic plane crash on Aug. 15, 1935, in Point Barrow, Alaska.
