PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — By August standards, temperatures will remain below average in the Portland metro as clouds linger in the area.
The highs along the Oregon Coast will likely only hit the mid-to-upper 60s, while in the Willamette Valley the temps should reach the mid-to-upper 70s on Sunday.
Some afternoon and evening sun breaks are likely to happen later in the day.
But summer is not over. In fact, the Pacific Northwest — including Portland — will return to sunshine and much warmer weather as we make our way through this coming week…
