CAPITAL REGION, NY (WRGB) — Two kittens are recovering and receiving care after they were tossed into a recycling bin picked up on Aug. 11 in Colonie.
According to Noah’s Kingdom Humane Society, staff members of a Colonie recycling company heard screaming after they collected a bin, and stopped the recycling truck’s conveyor belt, preventing the kittens from being crushed to death. They contacted the rescue, and now the kittens are in foster care, being bottle fed, as well as being nursed by a mother cat who has accepted them.
Noah’s Kingdom, a volunteer shelter located inside the PetsMart on Washington Avenue Extension in Albany, is accepting donations to help care for these and other kittens in their care using Venmo, check/cash or donate with PayPal online. Checks made payable to Noah’s Kingdom Humane Society can also be mailed to: P.O. Box 14232 Albany, NY 12205…
