CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries after striking the person on the shoulder of Monacan Trail Road Sunday evening.
Albemarle County Police and Fire units responded to reports of a pedestrian on the shoulder of the 900 block of the roadway at approximately 5:30 p.m. Sunday. They found a victim with injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
