Orange County, CA (August 16, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision on I-5 North near Avenida Vista Hermosa left several people injured on Saturday afternoon, August 16, prompting a large emergency response.
According to the California Highway Patrol, emergency crews, including an ambulance unit, arrived shortly after the crash to treat those injured. At least one victim was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation, while others received treatment on-site. Officers from the Orange County CHP diverted traffic to the right-hand shoulder to prevent further collisions. Authorities are still investigating the events that led to the collision.
