On August 16th, at approximately 6:30 p.m., deputies were flagged down at the intersection of Beatty Road and Kay Street in response to a reported shooting.
When deputies arrived they found an individual suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body. Deputies immediately provided medical assistance and contacted EMS.
EMS arrived shortly after and transported the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
