A pedestrian was killed Sunday afternoon after a suspected DUI driver struck her on a sidewalk in Fresno.
Officers responded to the collision at 3 p.m. at Olive Avenue and First Street and found the unidentified woman with major injuries, as she was struck by a gray Honda Accord. The pedestrian was pronounced dead.
According to Fresno Police Sgt. Mark Van Wyhe, the vehicle was traveling westbound on Olive when the vehicle left the roadway and onto the sidewalk, shearing off a power pole before colliding with the pedestrian…
