FITCHBURG, Wis. (WMTV) – Even before the 17th annual Agora Art Fair officially started, people were arriving, ready to check out art from the more than 100 Wisconsin-based artists presenting at the fair.
“It is fun to have local artists’ art in your home, whether it’s ceramics or photos or jewelry or whatever creativity it is,” said Deborah Bilzing. She attended the fair with her sister Cynthia.
Artist booths showcased a wide range of art from pottery and jewelry to handbags and fiber art.
“I’m inspired by folk art, American folk art… But I have kind of an Impressionist style as well, said James Shulkin, the artist behind the James Shulkin Arts booth at the fair. ”I try to mix the two of them together and I make 3D art, sculptural art.”…
