Second Suspect Arrested in Grays Ferry Mass Shooting That Left 3 Dead, 9 Injured

Philadelphia police have announced the arrest of a second suspect in connection with the July 7 mass shooting in the city’s Grays Ferry section, an incident that left three people dead and nine others wounded.

Authorities said 21-year-old Daquan Brown was taken into custody on Tuesday, August 13, in the 1500 block of South Morston Street. Members of the SWAT Unit and Homicide Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on that block, where Brown was found inside. Police reported that he was arrested without incident and transported to the Homicide Unit for further processing.
