Madison man arrested for 5th OWI in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Wis. — A Columbus police officer stopped a Madison man at 11:24 p.m. Sunday for a traffic violation and observed signs of alcohol impairment and possible drug use, according to the Columbus Police Department.

Police said a sheriff’s office K9 alerted during the stop, and officers allegedly found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
