Mass. man charged as Fugitive from Justice in Vermont

HIGHGATE, VT. (WWLP) – A Massachusetts man was arrested in Vermont as a fugitive from justice due to an active arrest warrant.

Massachusetts driver caught speeding in New Hampshire with child in car

Vermont State Police said that at approximately 3:41 p.m. on Sunday, troopers received an alert from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Port of Entry in Highgate. They alerted State Police that a man had been detained in connection with an arrest warrant out of New Hampshire.

Troopers arrived in the area and identified the suspect as 49-year-old Masseye Dabo of Medford, Massachusetts. Further investigation revealed that Dabo had an active warrant out of Manchester, N.H., after being charged with robbery, a Class B felony in the state of New Hampshire.

Dabo was held on $5,000 bail and scheduled in Franklin Superior Court on Monday for the offense of Fugitive From Justice.
