U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed a hold on a Wildwood man who admitted he was not a citizen and did not have a license.
A deputy observed a white Dodge Challenger heading north on Preston Drive in The Villages around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. A check of the tag revealed the registered owner, 30-year-old Eduardo Salgado Fajardo, did not have a driver’s license.
The subsequently stopped the vehicle at the Circle K at Southern Trace Plaza. Salgado Fajardo admitted he did not have a license, nor had he ever had one in the United States. He was not a citizen and handed the deputy a Mexican ID, the report aid…
