Police are investigating two violent incidents that occurred in Center City Philadelphia on Friday night, one of which left a woman with serious injuries.
The first incident happened around 8:50 p.m. at 20th and Pine streets. According to police, two Hispanic men attempted to rob two women, demanding a wallet. One of the suspects was armed with a meat cleaver.
Police say one of the women threw her phone, and both victims escaped unharmed…
