TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A new Amtrak route along the Gulf hit the tracks on Monday, amid a renewed push for passenger rail service in the capital city.
Monday marked the launch of Amtrak’s Mardi Gras line between Mobile, Ala. and New Orleans. According to Amtrak, it will also offer stops in stops along the way in Pascagoula, Biloxi, Gulfport and Bay Saint Louis, Miss.
