Discovery Center’s ‘Discover for a Dollar’ on Labor Day weekend

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Discover Center Collective locations will be offering reduced admission during their “Discover for a Dollar” program on Labor Day weekend.

According to officials, the Don Harrington Discovery Center will host a “Discover for a Dollar” evening from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 29. Officials noted the $1 admission per person for the evening will be full of “fun, science, and discoveries,” and will include science demonstrations, a space theater show and freshly popped popcorn.

Wildcat Bluff Nature Center will host its “Discover for a Dollar” on Saturday, August 30, from sunrise to sunset. Officials stated visitors outside of WBNC’s office hours are asked to place their $1 admission fee in the drop-off box next to the visitor center’s entrance or use the QR codes at the trailhead or bulletin board to pay digitally.
