Man accused of killing his parents near Crosby caught, arrested

HOUSTON (KIAH) — The man accused of killing his parents in the Crosby-area back in July was arrested over the weekend.

Christopher Leman Jr., 47, is charged with capital murder in the deaths of his father and mother.

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office conducting a welfare check found the couple at a home on Crosby Lynchburg Road on July 11.

Deputies discovered Christopher Leman Sr., 75, and his wife, Mary Leman, 73, at their home for a welfare check call at 10505 Crosby Lynchburg Road. Christopher was declared dead at the scene, while Mary was taken to a hospital but died two days later. Both had suffered apparent injuries…
