Four Orleans Parish Jail inmates are out of a hospital after a weekend stabbing at the facility.
According to a statement released by the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office, that stabbing happened inside housing unit 1A on Sunday around 7:45 p.m. A total of five inmates were injured, but only four of them were taken to hospitals for evaluation and treatment. Officials say the fifth inmate was treated in-house by the OPSO’s medical staff.
