UPDATE (10:31 p.m.-8/18):CALDWELL, Idaho — A family lost their home and several pets in a devastating fire Tuesday, though a teenager who was home alone managed to escape without injuries.
Caldwell Fire received a call about a residential fire at approximately 5:03 p.m. Multiple fire agencies responded to prevent the flames from spreading.
“For a while we were like what the heck happened,” said Manuel Olvera, a nearby neighbor.
