Man on methamphetamine arrested after street incident

MERIDIAN, Idaho — A man was arrested on drug-related charges after being found standing in a roadway while under the influence of methamphetamine.

According to the Meridian Police Department, Ricardo Ramirez was discovered in the street by two off-duty deputies who were traveling to go scouting while wearing hunting clothes. The deputies, one from Valley County and another from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, moved Ramirez safely out of the roadway and remained with him until responding officers arrived.
