RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Vitalant staff greet and check-in frequently with blood donors just about every day at the local blood bank.
But in the next coming days and weeks, a man or woman wearing a badge from a local agency could be in the reclining chair at various locations here in Northern Nevada for the “Battle of the Badges”
“There is bragging rights yes,” says Chief Walt White, Sparks Fire Chief. “That’s important. But no, it is really a great cause. I mean one pint of blood can save as many as three lives.”…
