Akron clergy group calls for policy changes after grand jury clears officer in Michael Jones’ killing

A group of prominent Akron-area religious leaders are speaking out about what they said is inaction from authorities to stop killings by police officers.

Members of the Greater Akron Fellowship of Clergy gathered just days after a Summit County grand jury quickly declined to indict the Akron police officer who killed 54-year-old Michael Jones at a gas station last year.
