MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A 60-year-old man and his roommate are facing charges in connection with the death of his elderly mother, authorities in Montgomery County detailed on Monday.
At around 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 15, the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) was called to a home in the 18600 block of Muncaster Road to investigate reports of a missing woman.
The caller said 81-year-old Victoria Ellen Shay was missing from the home she shared with her son, 60-year-old Daniel Shay, and his roommate, 59-year-old Dwayne Anthony Embrey.
