RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is saying the Ju’stice Anonymous gun turn-in event in July led to thousands of rounds of ammo off the streets just days after.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says over 2,000 rounds of ammunition were turned over.
The sheriff says that since the department began arresting parents for aiding in youth violent crime, more and more parents have begun turning in ammo they either have or have discovered in their homes, and have begun sending more tips of potential crimes in an effort to better protect their children and the community…
