A Toledo man was arrested for OVI and causing a hit-skip crash which reportedly left a car inoperable in the downtown area.
A Bowling Green Police officer was on patrol Saturday (Aug. 16) just after midnight when he came upon a disabled vehicle in the middle of the intersection of Prospect and East Wooster streets. The car had severe front-end damage and its alarm was going off. It had to be towed from the scene.
A witness had written down the license plate as the hit-and-run car left the scene, and police received a 911 call that the car was at Taco Bell just down East Wooster Street. Police found the vehicle, with damage to the front bumper…
