I’m not sure if it’s just my love of learning about history or my obsession with horror and the macabre, but I have been fascinated by true crime stories since I was a kid. From riding my bike to the gas station on Tamarack to read the updated tabloids about O.J. to sneakily watching scary movies while my parents were asleep.
Now, I will binge-watch a documentary while doing laundry on a Sunday afternoon or power through a podcast episode while running errands. The wild details of a crime, the motive, the backstories, and learning what transformed a human into a heinous murderer, I need to know it all.
Museum of Horror
Do you love true crime too? Have you ever heard about The Ohio Museum of Horror in Galion, OH? It’s three stories of “Real Human Skulls, Serial Killer Objects, Haunted Items, Ouija Boards, Human Remains, Horror Movie Memorabilia, and more!” Tickets are only $10, and I’m sure it’s a scream. There is also a Museum of Horror in Monroe, Michigan, but what makes Ohio special is the restaurant next door.
