Sue Kesey, who passed away on Aug. 18, was a pivotal figure in the natural foods industry and a beloved leader within the community. Kesey, alongside her husband Chuck, founded Springfield Creamery in 1960. She played a critical role in transforming the business from a local operation into a nationally recognized innovator in cultured dairy foods.
