Eugene PD’s Street Crimes Unit recovers guns, drugs, and stolen Rutgers gear

EUGENE, Ore. — A 35-year-old man was arrested following a series of events that began with a mobile dispute and led to the discovery of illicit narcotics and firearms at a residence on West 37th Avenue in Eugene.

The Eugene Police Department (EPD) says that their Street Crimes Unit (SCU) had been investigating Adam Cole Young for suspected involvement with narcotics and firearms. During their investigation, EPD says, officers observed Young driving near the W. 37th residence and engaging in a dispute with his girlfriend, during which he rear-ended her vehicle and then chased her out onto Willamette Street.
