Popular Portland festivals ask for relief from six-figure annual city fees

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A pair of iconic Portland events said their futures could depend, in part, on financial relief from the city’s Parks Bureau.

KATU News learned the Rose Festival and Blues Festival pay a combined roughly $330,000 a year to put on events in the city’s Waterfront.
