PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A 15-year-old student was charged after he allegedly made a threat toward a high school in Manassas last week.
On Aug. 13, the Prince William County Police Department said it began investigating the possible threat to Osbourn Park High School after a post was made on social media. As the investigation continued, officers learned that a 15-year-old student had posted a picture on Snapchat, that indicated violence at the school.

The image was brought to the attention of law enforcement, which prompted the investigation. Officers later determined that there was no credible or active threat to students, faculty or staff.
