Baltimore businesses demand security as vandals wreak havoc on 25th and Saint Paul

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The scars of vandalism are evident at 25th and Saint Paul, where local businesses have been repeatedly targeted. A shattered window at Terra Cafe and a broken door frame at a nearby Subway are just some of the recent damages inflicted by vandals.

The owner of ‘Taste This,’ whose glass door was shattered overnight, complained two years ago about the vandalism that’s costing thousands to repair. “They come in and tear your register down so you have to replace the registers,” he added.

Across the street, the Subway has been hit twice in the past week. Surveillance footage captured burglars crashing through the front door and escaping with a register containing $40 in just 20 seconds. The owners anticipate repair costs running into thousands of dollars…
