2 suspects apprehended after midday shooting on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Two suspects were apprehended Monday after a midday shooting in North Charleston, local authorities reported.

According to a news release, officers with the North Charleston Police Department were dispatched to the 4200 block of Rivers Avenue, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest and lower back.

The victim was unresponsive, and officers immediately initiated life-saving measures until EMS personnel arrived on scene. The unnamed victim was taken to a local area hospital for treatment…
