Mother Dog, Puppies Rescued From ‘Deplorable Conditions’ In California

Authorities in California say a mother dog and her puppies are safely in foster care after they were rescued from “disturbing conditions” last month.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were assisting Code Enforcement personnel at a property on Quimby Road in unincorporated San Jose in July when “several” animals were found living in “disturbing conditions.”

A mother dog and her puppies were rescued and turned over to the care of County of Santa Clara Animal Services. They were immediately provided food and water, and the sheriff’s office says they are now safe in a foster home until they’re old enough to be adopted…
