Bell’s Brewery holds “National Dog Day” celebration

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — On Aug. 26, dog-owners and their pets are welcome to attend a special “National Dog Day” celebration at Bell’s Brewery in their outdoor beer garden from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“We know that your pup’s going to love it,” Madysen Doyle, hospitality and retail marketing manager for Bell’s Brewery, said. “We’re going to have a ton of activities available for them and for you to make memories.”

Dog-friendly patio party in Grand Rapids benefits Paws With A Cause

Some activities include a caricature artist and DIY paw print painting, as well as some meet-and-greets with adoptable pets from the Animal Rescue Project, a Kalamazoo shelter for at-risk animals.

“They’re our local nonprofit organization that rescues dogs in our area,” Doyle said. “They’ve been present at a majority of our dog-friendly events.”
