MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed presented his $353.2 million budget proposal to the city council Tuesday- the largest in the city’s history.
It continues a trend of the budget increasing year-over-year. The 2025 budget was $331.6 million, meaning the 2026 proposed budget would be a $21.6 million increase or about 6.5%.
