HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) -Officials up and down the Grand Strand are meeting this week to collaborate on a proposed emergency shelter for the homeless.
Leaders in Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Conway, and other county officials are searching for a centralized facility that holds anywhere from 100 to 200 beds—so the unhoused community has a safer place to lay their heads at night.
