Bojangles Returns to NYC with Plans for 20 New Locations

Bojangles, the Carolina-born chain known for its fried chicken, buttermilk biscuits, and all-day breakfast, is making its return to New York City. After a short-lived presence in the 1980s, the brand has signed a 20-unit agreement that will bring its Southern flavors back to the five boroughs over the next decade. The first location is already under construction in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, and is expected to open this winter.

For more than 45 years, Bojangles has been a staple in the Southeast, famous for its hand-breaded fried chicken, fresh-baked biscuits, and signature iced tea.
