AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Police say speed and alcohol are a factor in a weekend crash that sent two people to jail.
The driver of a white Corvette C8 lost control and crashed on the S curved road by the Amarillo Country Club.
Police took the driver, 57-year-old Paula Jean Gomez, to the Potter County Detention Center where she was booked in for a charge of driving while intoxicated.
Police also took the passenger, Florentino Paul Gonzales, to the Randall County Jail where he was booked in on a charge of public intoxication.
Both were released by the next day…
