Lawsuit over Pepper Square development dropped

DALLAS — A lawsuit filed over the controversial planned redevelopment of the aging Pepper Square shopping center in Far North Dallas was dropped this week.

Dallas County District Court Judge Martin Hoffman signed an “agreed order of nonsuit without prejudice” filed this week, court records show, dismissing the lawsuit filed by the Save Pepper Square Neighborhood Association seeking to block the planned development. The neighbors can refile the claim later if they choose to, though.
