LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln woman was charged with her fourth DUI after leading officers on a chase, according to police.
On Aug. 13, dispatch aired an report of a driver swerving and hitting multiple curves at 1:06 p.m. near South 84th and A streets.
LPD said police found the vehicle and began a traffic stop. The driver, 42-year-old Andrea Garza, rolled down the passenger window of their vehicle and said that she had taken two to three Xanax pills. When asked for her drivers license, Garza said she did not have one, then drove away from the traffic stop.
According to court documents, Garza continued to drive westbound on Old Cheney Road, ignoring red traffic lights and almost colliding with another vehicle. Police activated their sirens to pursue the vehicle…
