Look, I realize this article is not going to win me a Pulitzer Prize. But dang, there is just something about watching a lightning storm, I’m a sucker for it every time. Even if it’s not live and in person, I love a good video. That’s why I bring these to y’all. I figure there have to be some other people like me out there who just love the spectacle of it all.
Last night, citizens everywhere in Houston were given a surprise light show by Mother Nature herself. A lightning storm rolled through the city, lighting up the sky with flashes. For hours straight, lightning bolts jumped from cloud to cloud and sometimes strobed downward toward the ground, putting on a wild spectacle.
