A recent fatal car crash at an intersection west of Wichita -135th and 29th North – has focued the attention of public officials in Sedgwick County. County Commission Chair Ryan Baty tells KNSS News it’s a matter of public safety. Baty says there are “multiple” dangerous intersections in the county and the Commission will be “proactive” in making changes to improve safety.
At Wednesday’s meeting, the Sedgwick County Commission will approve its budget for next year. Commission Chair Baty tells KNSS News the budget will spend more than 600 million dollars, and will see a reduction in the property tax mill levy.
