CSU welcoming largest in-state freshman class in university history

FORT COLLINS (KDVR) — Colorado State University kicked off Ram Welcome Week on Tuesday, with thousands of new students moving into the dorms and onto campus.

“There is a lot of energy, feelings and emotions students are transitioning, but I also remind them parents and families are also transitioning cause this is a big turning point,” Dr. Josh Maxwell, director of University housing, said.

Amy Parsons, the president of CSU, also an alumnus of the university, was present during move-in and said this year a lot of the freshmen are from right here in Colorado.
