TUCSON, Ariz. – Tucson is facing dangerous heat this week as an Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect through Thursday evening, with highs topping 105°F and climbing to 107°F by Thursday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, residents across Pima County and southern Arizona should prepare for intense afternoon heat combined with isolated thunderstorm chances each day. Storms could bring brief gusty winds and localized flooding, particularly along I-10 and rural desert roadways.
Daytime highs will range from 104°F Tuesday to 107°F Thursday, while nighttime lows stay in the low 80s, offering little relief from the heat.
