HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Gov. Josh Green joined Spotlight Now for a full hour on Tuesday, covering issues such as expiring military land leases and funding for the Aloha Stadium.
Gov. Green said he started negotiations with the military about their leases on local land.
“They have to use a smaller footprint. We have to have lands returned to us,” said Green. “They have to accommodate the cleaning, the purification of the land, after using it for training and dropping bombs. They have to help us with our water wherever it could have been compromised.”…
