Singer and TV personality Tamar Braxton recently shared a frightening health scare with fans, revealing she “almost died” after being found injured in her home. In an August 19 Instagram story, the 48-year-old Braxton described being discovered by a friend “in a pool of blood” with facial injuries. She says the situation has worsened in the days since.
Braxton, known for her hit “Love and War,” says she’s been left too weak to speak and is struggling to piece together what happened. While details surrounding the incident remain unclear, she revealed the extent of her injuries, which include a broken nose, the loss of several teeth, and difficulty moving.
The experience has understandably shaken Braxton, who admitted, “The way I look at life now is totally different.” Though physically on the mend, she acknowledged the mental and emotional recovery ahead, asking for prayers from fans. This isn’t Braxton’s first public health battle; she was hospitalized in 2021 after being found unresponsive.
