Tonawanda man found guilty for shooting man during auto repair dispute

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Tonawanda man has been found guilty of four different charges in connection to shooting a victim during an auto repair dispute in 2023, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday.

Detrick Gray, 42, shot a man during a dispute about an auto repair on Dec. 21, 2023.

The previous month, a woman had taken her car to Gray’s auto repair shop on the 800 block of East Lovejoy Street. Gray agreed to do the repairs for $1,500. The woman paid the money and left her vehicle at the shop and he stopped communicating about the repairs…
