COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina lawmakers are pressing insurance companies for answers as rates continue to climb, impacting everything from homeowners to small businesses.
The House Insurance Rate Ad-Hoc Committee met Tuesday to hear testimony from insurance agencies on why rates are spiking and what can be done to bring them down.
