CINCINNATI (WXIX) – After a hot and humid day, strong storms are rolling into the Tri-State this evening. Damaging wind and small hail will be the biggest concern with the stronger cells along with intense downpours and frequent lightning. Best chances for storms tonight will continue through 10pm tonight.
A few storms may linger overnight into early Wednesday morning, but most of the area will dry out quickly. Behind the front, highs will only reach the low 80s Wednesday with breezy north winds helping to drop humidity levels. Skies will gradually clear by late in the day, setting up a more comfortable second half of the work week.
Thursday and Friday both look pleasant, with highs in the low to mid 80s and much drier air in place. Sunshine will mix with some passing clouds, and overnight lows will dip into the mid 60s. Patchy fog is possible both mornings in low-lying areas, but otherwise the end of the week shapes up nicely…
