Cleveland Heights police investigating threats after residents receive ‘hate mail’ over display of Pride flags

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Cleveland Heights police are investigating after several homeowners reported receiving threatening messages related to the display of their Pride flags. The residents describe the threats as homophobic, “neo-Nazi,” violent, and hateful, declaring they have no place in the community.

If you drive down any of the streets in Cleveland Heights’ neighborhoods, you’ll find a diversity of flags representing the fabric of the community.
